Prebiotics obtained from chicory are a source of fermentable fibers that have been shown to reduce the risk of gastro-intestinal problems and colic in horses. Stimulation of the good bacteria in the large intestine and longer villi leads to improved intestinal health.

Administered in wet form, Innofiber is a healthy alternative to beet pulp. The ideal blend of soluble and insoluble fiber stimulates transit and controlled fermentation in the upper intestinal tract. The chicory fiber also contains residual inulin, which has a prebiotic effect.
